Semiconductor photoelectroanalysis and photobioelectroanalysis: A perspective

نویسندگان

چکیده

Electrochemical sensor signal output, when recorded as a current, is primarily related to the target analyte concentration, but often also additional experimental or control parameters. When employing photo-active semiconductor electrodes, light intensity offers an parameter for sensors and opportunities new reaction/detection amplification pathways. Light stimulation can (i) excite charge carriers directly interact with analyte, (ii) via receptor, (iii) provide excited state solution intermediates generate secondary molecules, (iv) consume give negative photoelectrochemical signal, (v) be used modify amplify response. activated have been reported multiplexed arrays. In this perspective, recent developments in sensing methods based on materials are summarised directions highlighted.

Nonlinear optics of semiconductor and molecular nanostructures; a common perspective

A unified microscopic theoretical framework for the calculation of optical excitations in molecular and semiconductor materials is presented. The hierarchy of many-body density matrices for a pair-conserving many-electron model and the Frenkel exciton model is rigorously truncated to a given order in the radiation field. Closed equations of motion are derived for five generating functions repre...

Industry 4.0 from the Semiconductor Industry’s Perspective

Visit analog.com/iot At present, a paradigm shift, referred to frequently as Industry 4.0—or Industrie 4.0 in Germany—is taking place. In international usage, terms like the (Industrial) Internet of Things, smart factory, or cyber physical (production) systems are often used interchangeably to refer to the same thing. Industry 4.0 refers to the global trend toward the digitization and networkin...
